Aisha attained her Early Childhood Care & Education (Montessori) qualification in 1999 and is a mother of five children. Trained as a lawyer from Middle Temple, London, England, she supports child rights through advocacy work as President of the Montessori Association of Malaysia and as Director of Malaysian Child Resource Institute. She also provides consultancy work for setting up schools as well as does teacher-training and volunteers with local NGO child-centred initiatives. A lawyer by training, Aisha authored the book “Why Montessori? Choosing the Right Preschool”, (“Mengapa Montessori? Memilih Prasekolah yang Sesuai”) published by Times Media Pte Ltd. in 2001.
obtained her Masters in Montessori Intergrative Learning form Endicott College, Beverly, Massachusetts, USA in 2015 and is keen in her observation and work on continued human development amidst the reachable stakeholders of society within the community, both locally and globally. She continues in her quest for peace through her work in her resumed collaborative law practice in Shah Alam, Malaysia through areas of family law and child protection both in the civil and syariah system as well as an accredited mediator with the Malaysian Mediation Council.
